Excitement about moving into a new home will wear off. You'll crave something different. At this point, some people stick it out in their old home, while others buy a new home to fight the feeling stasis. Others choose to remodel. After balancing our issues, finances, and objectives on a scale, my wife and I decided that a remodel was the best route. Our master bathroom was the most prevalent nightmare. The grout was cracking and some of the tiles had become loose. We had some big decisions to make, but fortunately we had a great remodeling agency on our side. Would we want granite floors? What about quartz cabinets? This was the tip of the iceberg with our decisions.

Each room would have its very own motifs, we decided. In the kitchen, we wanted granite countertops and marble floors. We picked quartz for the countertops. We also went with an an oak vanity with matching granite trim; the bathroom cabinets featured a similar style.

Now that the kitchen and bathroom remodels are done, our home looks terrific. We hope that it'll will be another decade before we start looking for ways to freshen everything up.
